It’s likely no coincidence that I bruise easily, literally speaking. And I’m still working on softening my edges.

thank you for this. try the practice of noticing. a small challenge each day to take a breath when you notice yourself being quick, frustrated, or jumpy… start from there and soften down with exhales and if possible to make a soft choice or reaction you wouldn’t have otherwise made. :) I share 33 special observations tomorrow morning, keep your eyes peeled.

This has just hugged me so tightly. I got a prophetic word two weeks back at church about this - that my softness and gentleness are not flaws or weaknesses.

This was not only a beautiful read it was also such a love letter to the human spirit and I hope a lot of people accept it for what it is!
